Kandi Burruss’ Ex-Fiance Killed in Atlanta Club Fight

Filed under: Chat 'bout — Felicia @ 2:40 pm

Kandi & AJAshley Jewell, also known as AJ who was the ex-fiance of singer/songwriter and star of the reality series Real Housewives Of Atlanta, died last night in Atlanta. AJ who was featured on several episodes of Bravo’s hit series was said to have been involved in a fight in one of Atlanta’s strip clubs.

The couple who ended their engagement earlier this year have remained friends and there were speculations that Kandi still cared for one of his children. Naturally Kandi is very sad and heartbroken at this point. In a message sent through her publicist, she asks that people pray for AJ’s children, because she’s most concerned for them.

Update: A man named Fredrick Richardson has been arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. More details are developing. My thoughts go out to his family.

  1. My Dearest Kandi,

I feel like something has been torn from your life. I thought that you and AJ made the cutest couple on the show. I could really tell that your heart and his heart beat as one. He was so involved in your well being. I am so very sorry that God has taken one of his loving angels so soon. But make no mistake about it, God makes no mistakes! AJ is and always will be watching over you. I know that you are angry at the world right now. You have every right to be. Just know that I don’t even know you personally, but I feel like if I ever had a chance to meet you, that we would make such a great connection. If this email never reaches you Kandi, just know that you and your daughter will forever be in my prayers. Keep your head up even if the sorrows are heavy. Cast all your cares, problems and stress upon the Lord. He will see you through this! I just know he will. Remember to have faith; this is your biggest test ever. Believe it or not, more doors will open and new and inviting this will come. This shall pass…

    Love ya sista,
